Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Eighty20 sells professional services (AI consulting and software development), not physical goods. Nothing is shipped, so there are no returns. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work. Where a signed proposal or statement of work says something different, that document applies.
How billing works
- Every engagement starts with a written quote or proposal that sets out scope, price, currency and payment schedule.
- Payments are invoiced and may be collected by card or bank transfer through our payment processor (Stripe).
- Deposits or milestone payments are due as stated on the invoice.
Cancellation
- You may cancel an engagement at any time by emailing contact@eighty20.xyz.
- Recurring retainers or subscriptions can be cancelled before the next billing date and will not renew.
- On cancellation you pay for work performed up to the cancellation date. Any deliverables completed to that point are handed over.
Refunds
- Prepaid amounts for work not yet started are refunded in full.
- Work already performed is not refundable. If a deliverable does not meet the agreed scope, we will first fix it at no extra cost.
- If we cannot resolve the issue, we will issue a partial or full refund for the affected deliverable.
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank may take longer to show them.
Disputes
Please contact us before opening a chargeback. We respond to billing questions within 2 business days.
